Pero este post es más sobre una sospecha que tenemos. Creemos que lo que está alertando al spammer de wordpress de que existe una instalación fresca lista para espamear es la url que hay por defecto para hacer ping con un nuevo post. Seguramente el spammer pilla el feed rss de esa página.
¿Así que qué puedes hacer? Justo cuando te lo instalas, cuando estás configurando el admin, ve a la sección de opciones>escribir y borra la dirección de pingomatic.
Esto lo tienes que hacer antes de hacer tu primer post. Si no ya será demasiado tarde. Si ya no puedes hacer nada, pues eso, lo mejor es el Trencaspammers.

So what if this captcha is taken from other GNU projects? There’s permission for that, that’s why it’s open source, it’s not pirated!!
Why badly designed? Everyone is really happy to have an easy to install and easy to use solution to wp spam, which is free and with no one behind trying to make money with adverts like you!
Which brings me to say that if you are the one behid security focus website, you are making yourself a really sad favor, advertising it through spam. If not you should explain.
All I can see here is a little jealous fellow who’s taken a ridiculous amount of time to spam my webpage and other people’s blogs who use Trencaspammers. You demonstrate nothing because you’ve had to read the graphic code and put it ther by hand. You are a slave of labour, not a little hacker, my friend!
And one more thing, you are simulating the ip’s that the spammer, who is attacking a large number of blogs out there, is using, or aren’t you? Maybe you are the spammer and you are full of resentment because we finally found a way to stop you!!
